Business travel content marketing expertise is hard to find.
Though it shares similarities and functions with its leisure travel cousin, business travel can be very different in many ways. Your target audience generally isn’t the same. Technology isn’t necessarily the same - though that’s evolving. Cost is often the dominant factor in corporate travel, but not always. Factors such as value, quality, risk, compliance, and safety can play a significant role too. A lot goes into business travel that most people on the outside couldn’t fathom.
I have been writing about business travel since 2002. I started with a global travel management company, writing RFPs and sales presentations. From there, I moved into content, working with the company’s website and starting their first blog and social media channels.
